Moonlight Cinema is an annual summer event that takes place in multiple cities across Australia. Classics and new release films are played outdoors in parks and botanical gardens. Attendees are able to enjoy movies in a comfortable, relaxing, family friendly setting.

For this design project I have created a visual campaign that features a hero piece (event poster), one 2D application (movie booklet) and one 3D application (packaging for 3D glasses).

I attempted to achieve a nostalgic classic movie feel and tone for this project. This can be seen by the overall design elements used on the event poster, the pastel colours and the cartoon characters. All the components used have a connection the the 1950s as a way to play on the nostalgic feeling. The typeface used on the poster and the booklet is one that was popular during the 1950s. Furthermore, the movies that are featured are all ones set from this era linking further to the 1950s feel and tone.
