This is an assessment piece which was for a TAFE course, Working with Complex Layouts. For this assignment students were required to create an editorial layout for a feature article, as well as a cover design for the magazine.

The publication needed to include a range of software tools and features found in Adobe InDesign. Common editorial anatomy elements such as, pull quote, folios, headline, deck, image captions and lead were also required.

I researched contemporary magazine layouts and tried to create a design that was both practical and modern. The overall design is based on a minimalistic approach and less of a focus on commercial elements.
